INTERSECTION Barbershop was born from the desire to create a barbershop that was both cultural and avant-garde, where each client’s personal expression is celebrated as an art form.
Located in the heart of Gatineau, the brand wanted to stand out by offering a personalized experience, combining tradition and innovation, while cultivating a strong community spirit.
This project is the result of a collaboration with the Kariboo Marketing team, who supported our strategy work and our artistic direction with striking and bold visuals.
The challenge: to forge an identity bold enough to reinvent the industry, while remaining accessible and refined to welcome each customer in a warm atmosphere.
Clear positioning: We began by defining INTERSECTION’s vision: to elevate the art of barbering by combining the best of traditional cutting with innovative techniques. Emphasis was placed on values such as excellence, integrity, avant-gardism, and respect, ensuring consistency at all points of contact.
Distinct brand personality: The brand needed to be bold, innovative, yet sophisticated to attract a modern clientele seeking quality. We reinforced this by incorporating a community aspect, where everyone feels comfortable and valued, regardless of their background or style.
Tone & Communication: The preferred tone is professional yet warm, reflecting both the high-end aspect (refined services) and friendliness. The key messages “Be fresh” or “Book your appointment” , invite the customer to take action while confirming INTERSECTION’s proximity and modernity.
Impactful visual identity: To support this proposal, we developed a minimalist and modular logo, contrasting colors (combining bright touches with more subdued tones), and typography that combines urban character and readability. The result: an elegant, unique, and easily recognizable visual identity.
Immersive customer experience: The lounge layout and artistic ambiance quickly attracted clients seeking relaxation and style.
Local recognition: Located at one of Gatineau's most strategic intersections, INTERSECTION enjoys optimal visibility and has made a name for itself among fans of personalized cuts.
Community involvement: The brand has forged strong relationships with its customers, valuing mutual support and inclusion. Feedback highlights the quality of service and the friendly atmosphere that reigns in each salon.
Sustainable growth: By leveraging technology (online booking platform, integration of tracking tools) and eco-responsible practices, INTERSECTION has positioned itself as a key player in men's grooming, today and in the future.
